Prepress services for NDR

Summary

Norddeutscher Rundfunk is seeking prepress services under a framework agreement. The work includes checking supplied layout files and preparing them for print in line with NDR’s brand guidelines; image editing; producing screen-view and print-ready PDFs and, where needed, proofs; archiving and delivering files to printers or other producers; and actively monitoring project deadlines. The service also includes taking over and managing the existing data archive of approximately 20 TB, with an online database and external access rights. The framework agreement will be awarded to one company for 12 months from 1 January 2027. NDR may extend it three times by 12 months, up to a maximum total term of 48 months. Bidders must meet minimum requirements concerning at least 7 permanent employees, qualified operators and customer-service staff, proofing equipment, experience operating a database with external access, quality control and delivery times. The offer must include company details, three comparable references, information about technical equipment and the project team, and a solution to the set task. Offers must be submitted electronically in German; price and the image-editing task solution each account for 50% of the evaluation.
