Strong language hero classes in primary education: sharing, developing and embedding expertise

Summary

The Flemish Department of Education and Training is procuring support for primary schools with language hero classes. The service is intended to help schools provide high-quality, ambitious education for pupils whose Dutch is not yet sufficient for full participation in the mainstream curriculum, with a focus on language acquisition, knowledge building, delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum and transition to mainstream education.
