Feasibility studies for electrifying railway lines in the Craiova region

Summary

C.N.C.F. CFR S.A., Regional Railway Branch Craiova, is procuring feasibility studies for electrifying railway lines in two lots: Caracal–Piatra Olt–Râmnicu Vâlcea and Râmnicu Vâlcea–Podu Olt. The studies must identify the technically, economically and operationally optimal investment solution, taking railway interoperability requirements into account. Each lot has a planned duration of 15 months; the estimated values are RON 36,000,000 for Lot 1 and RON 24,140,000 for Lot 2, excluding VAT.
