Implementation of a Battery Energy Storage System at Čierny Váh

Summary

Slovenské elektrárne is procuring, in one lot, an EPC project to design, supply, install and commission a battery energy storage system at Čierny Váh. The system must provide at least 480 MWh of usable energy capacity and 120 MW of rated power, and connect to the 400 kV substation through a newly built 400 kV bay. The scope includes permitting and engineering, civil, electrical and mechanical works, system integration, testing, performance verification and operator training.
