Feasibility studies for railway electrification on three corridors

Summary

CFR’s Cluj Regional Railway Branch is procuring feasibility studies for railway electrification on three corridors: Arad–Oradea (line 328, Boiu Bihor–Oradea section), Oradea–Carei–Satu Mare (line 400), and Satu Mare–Baia Mare–Jibou–Dej (lines 401 and 412). Each study will assess the existing situation and develop and compare at least two technical alternatives, covering traction power and overhead contact-line systems as well as related signalling and other railway installations. The estimated total value is RON 109,068,300, and the planned duration is 15 months per lot.
