Mowing and removal of cut vegetation from peat and wet heath grasslands in the Motte, Winge and Velpe valleys

Summary

The Flemish Agency for Nature and Forests is procuring mowing and haymaking services on particularly sensitive, nutrient-poor wet peat grasslands in the Motte, Winge and Velpe valleys. The work includes mowing with suitable lightweight equipment and collecting and removing the cut vegetation, using winched tarpaulins and, where practicable, a specialised pickup rotor to limit soil disturbance. The contract comprises one lot and is planned to start in January 2027 for 12 months.
