Bank card acceptance and transaction settlement

Summary

The University of Pécs is procuring a single, integrated payment-card acceptance and transaction-settlement service for 24 months, with an option to extend once for a further 12 months. The service covers VPOS, POS and SoftPOS payments, transaction settlement, system integration, technical support and qvik EAM instant-payment functionality. The provider must supply, install and maintain 80 rented physical POS terminals, with an option to add up to 24 more; VPOS facilities may expand as needed, and no fixed SoftPOS quantity is specified. Payments must be accepted and settled in HUF, EUR and USD. In 2025, the University processed HUF 12,332 million in payment volume, including EUR 7.639 million and USD 12.747 million in foreign-currency transactions; these historical figures do not guarantee future volumes. The service is not divided into lots.
