Structural engineering and geotechnical design for the operating department at Uddevalla Hospital

Summary

Västra Götaland Region is procuring structural engineering and geotechnical consultancy for the design stages of the renovation and new construction at Uddevalla Hospital to create a new operating department, with supporting facilities including a sterilisation centre, pre-operative unit and recovery unit. The project includes approximately 2,900 m² of renovated floor area and 8,300 m² of new construction. Possible additional work includes detailed design and construction documents, production-stage support and as-built documentation.
