Architectural competition for the transformation of Svanemølleværket, DTM 4.0

Summary

Bygnings- og Udviklingsfonden DTM 4.0 is holding a design competition to transform the Svanemølleværket power station into the Danish Museum of Science and Technology. The competition seeks an integrated architectural and technical concept for the museum, visitor facilities, building operations and a possible business and technology hub. The design must respond to the building’s industrial character and heritage value and be feasible within a budget of DKK 660 million excluding VAT, at 2026 prices.
