Supply of Animal Feed in Two Lots

Summary

The tender covers the supply of feed for animals at the Budapest Zoo in two lots: Lot 1 comprises vegetables, fruit and frozen feed; Lot 2 comprises rabbits and rabbit meat. A framework agreement will be concluded for each lot, with supplies ordered as needed. The framework ceiling is HUF 300,000,000 for Lot 1 and HUF 10,000,000 for Lot 2. The contracting authority does not undertake to use the full ceilings or the estimated quantities stated in the notice. The agreement lasts 12 months and may be extended once for up to six months without changing the framework amount. Bidders must submit a priced schedule covering every product in the relevant lot; omission of the entire schedule cannot be remedied later. Price is the sole award criterion. The successful supplier must maintain the cold chain until delivery to the zoo and be able to fulfil orders as required. The delivery deadline will be set in each order and may fall on a non-working day. The bidder must have a suitable vehicle with a capacity of at least 350 litres; for Lot 2, the vehicle must also hold a valid permit for transporting live animals. HACCP-based or equivalent food-safety and quality assurance is required. Bids must be submitted electronically through the procurement system.
