Emergency Riverbed Cleaning in the Municipality of Samokov

Summary

The Municipality of Samokov is procuring 12 months of emergency riverbed-cleaning services. The work includes felling and removing individual trees, cutting trunks into sections, trimming and collecting branches, manual excavation, building and removing access ramps to riverbeds, loading and transporting trees and construction waste, constructing earth embankments, and clearing grass and shrubs with a tracked forestry mulcher. Indicative quantities include felling 265 trees with diameters of 10–40 cm, 47 trees with diameters of 41–70 cm and 925 trees with diameters over 70 cm; transporting removed trees up to 10 km is estimated at 667 m³, and mulcher clearance covers 4,800 decares, or 480 hectares. The estimated contract value is EUR 50,000 excluding VAT, and bids are evaluated on the lowest total price. The bidder must have performed at least one riverbed-cleaning service during the previous three years and must have each of the 15 specified types of machinery and equipment, one of each. The bid must include the European Single Procurement Document and comply with the technical specification. The submission deadline is 3 November 2026. The contract performance guarantee is 5% of the estimated contract value excluding VAT. According to the notice, cleaning several named river sections is being procured separately and is not part of this contract.
