Food Procurement for 2026

Summary

The tender covers the supply of food and food-preparation ingredients for the needs of the municipality of Sopron and related institutions. It is divided into 15 lots: frozen products; fats and oils; canned goods; juices and mineral water; cereals, sugar and dried pulses; dried pasta; pastry products; spices; convenience products and mixes; confectionery; fresh meat; poultry; meat products; milk and dairy products; and bread and bakery products. Bidders may submit offers for any or all of the 15 lots. The contract runs for 12 months or until the relevant lot’s budget is exhausted; if the budget remains unused, the term may be extended by up to six months, but no longer. The contracting authority undertakes to order at least 85% of the amount allocated to each lot and may, at its discretion, order an additional quantity worth up to 15%. The lowest net price is the sole award criterion. The offer must include a product description demonstrating technical compliance and a completed price table; bidders must be registered in the FELIR register. At delivery, each product must retain at least half of its stated shelf life. For lots 1, 11, 12, 13 and 14, the successful bidder must have a suitable vehicle for transporting the relevant products.
