Renewal of the insurance portfolio of the municipality of Leuze-en-Hainaut, its public social welfare centre and autonomous municipal body

Summary

The tender is for renewing the insurance portfolio of the municipality of Leuze-en-Hainaut, its public social welfare centre and its autonomous municipal body. It has two lots: the first covers 17 insurance classes, including property, fire, occupational accident, liability and motor insurance; the second covers cyber insurance. A tenderer may bid for one or both lots but must cover every insurance class within each lot it bids for. Offers must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 2 November 2026. The insurance contracts are planned to start on 1 January 2027. The initial term is one year, with up to three tacit renewals, for a maximum total term of four years. The tenderer must prove that it is authorised by the National Bank of Belgium to operate in the relevant insurance classes and provide at least three insurance-service references for each lot bid for, covering the previous three years. The award criteria are price (45%), services (40%), additional guarantees (10%), and environmental, social and governance practices (5%). A separate explanation of the proposed services is required; additional guarantees must be described in a note of no more than one A4 page per insurance class or lot.
