Building modernisation, extension and strengthening works for the National Semiconductor Technology Platform

Summary

The tender concerns the modernisation, strengthening, extension and additional floors of the existing C5 and C6 buildings in Cluj-Napoca to provide facilities for semiconductor technology research. The works include a two-storey electromagnetic compatibility anechoic chamber and 13 research and laboratory spaces, including laboratories for electromagnetic compatibility, radio-frequency and microwave technology, quantum optics, optoelectronics, sensors and quantum communications. The estimated contract value is RON 7,790,273.03 excluding VAT, and the planned duration is 15 months. The bidder must have average annual turnover of at least RON 15,000,000 over the last three years (2023–2025) and must have completed similar building works worth at least RON 7,000,000 excluding VAT under at least one and no more than two contracts during the last five years. The entities performing the works must demonstrate compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 or equivalent standards. The offer must also include the required qualification information and identify any intended subcontractors. The minimum works warranty is 36 months. Offers are evaluated on price (80%), the contract manager’s experience (10%) and the works warranty period (10%). The submission deadline is 26 October 2026 at 15:00.
