Expansion of cancer diagnosis and treatment infrastructure at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurovascular Diseases in Bucharest
Summary
The procurement covers the design, the designer’s technical assistance, construction and installation works, and the supply, installation, commissioning, testing and staff training for medical and other equipment requiring installation. The project will expand the cancer diagnosis and treatment infrastructure at Building C54 of the National Institute of Neurology and Neurovascular Diseases in Bucharest. The estimated total value is RON 80,367,704.08 excluding VAT: RON 3,520,000 for design and RON 76,847,704.08 for works and equipment. The planned contract duration is 36 months. The bidder must demonstrate the required registration and professional authorisation, together with relevant experience in similar hospital construction and design contracts. The bid must include technical and financial proposals, a work schedule, execution methodology, resources and a quality-management plan. Price accounts for 40% of the score; experience of key design experts for 24%; the adequacy of the schedule and allocated resources for 18%; and the works quality-management plan for 18%. The submission deadline is 4 November 2026 at 15:00. Bids must be submitted electronically and signed with a valid qualified electronic signature. No bid guarantee is required. Contract award is conditional on funding; if funding is not secured within 12 months of notification of the result, the contracting authority may decide not to sign the contract.
