Forest regeneration, acorn collection and seedling cultivation
Summary
The contract covers collecting oak and beech acorns from 69.05 hectares of forest areas managed by Vérteserdő and delivering them to the contracting authority’s sites. The collected acorns must be sown for initial forest regeneration over 10.71 hectares and for supplementary regeneration over a total of 326.98 hectares, including the required scrub clearance and soil preparation. Using its own equipment and growing materials, the contractor must raise 35,000 seedlings from oak acorns supplied by the contracting authority and deliver them in propagation trays to the Agostyán Arboretum by 12 March 2027. The contractor must also install approximately 14,400 metres of wildlife-protection fencing, with a permitted quantity variation of ±1%, including gates and preparation of the fence line. The planned contract period is 12 November 2026 to 12 March 2027. Participation requires evidence of the specified references and the qualifications and experience of two specialists. By contract signature, the successful bidder must hold a valid permit to produce and market forestry reproductive material. Bids must be submitted electronically and include a consolidated unit-price table. Evaluation considers price and the specialists’ additional experience; no bid guarantee is required.
