Vegetation management works on high-voltage networks

Summary

The procurement covers vegetation management services in ten areas of E.ON’s electricity networks. The work includes felling trees, pruning branches, clearing around electricity poles and clearing power-line corridors. A framework agreement with one contractor will be awarded for each lot, initially for 36 months, with a possible 12-month extension at the contracting authority’s discretion. Work will be ordered according to actual needs. Bids may be submitted for all lots, but a bidder may be awarded no more than three. Price is the sole award criterion, and an electronic auction is planned. Bids must be submitted electronically in Hungarian by 11:00 Hungarian time on 30 October 2026. To qualify, bidders must demonstrate at least 30 km of relevant forestry or horticultural work on network areas and provide two site supervisors with the required education and at least three years of experience. Before contract signature, the successful bidder must provide evidence of an ISO 14001 or equivalent environmental management system and meet the personnel, equipment, safety and liability insurance conditions specified in the tender documents.
