Modernisation of data centre ICT infrastructure and IT systems

Summary

The procurement covers the supply and commissioning of a complete data centre solution, including power and backup systems, cooling and ventilation, fire protection, security and monitoring, as well as computing, storage, networking and GPU equipment and software for virtualisation, containerisation, object storage, management and artificial intelligence. The solution covers data centres in Bratislava and Žilina and must support research and development IT services, including the operation and training of AI models. The estimated contract value is EUR 25,276,449.32. The planned delivery period is 30 months; the contracting authority may also exercise an option for 36 months of standard technical support. Tenders will be evaluated on the lowest total price including VAT. Tenderers must provide a tender guarantee and submit their tenders electronically. Access to certain parts of the technical specification requires a signed non-disclosure agreement.
