Design of the Forest Fitness Trail and Recreation Park

Summary

The procurement covers design services for improvements in the Sóstó Forest area of Nyíregyháza and is divided into two lots. Lot 1 concerns an accessible toilet block and a cover for the existing forest stage. The work includes a Natura 2000 impact assessment, permit-stage and detailed design, five site-supervision visits, professional support for future construction tenders, and preparation of an accessibility expert’s certification. The design must account for nature-conservation and seasonal restrictions, stormwater management, maintainability and reduced energy use. Lot 2 concerns a recreation park, including a nature trail or path, educational points, bat boxes and bird nesting boxes, a cooking area, benches, tables, sunbathing areas, bicycle stands and a stump garden. The work includes a Natura 2000 impact assessment, permit procedures, five site-supervision visits, support for future construction tenders and an accessibility expert’s certification. For both lots, the designer must prepare cost estimates and compliant design documentation, and include the relevant environmental requirements in the technical specification: separate collection and preparation for recovery of construction and demolition waste for Lot 1, and measures to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions from transporting construction products and materials for Lot 2. Bidders must meet the lot-specific experience, specialist and professional-register requirements. The bid must include the required declarations and evidence; documents in other languages must be accompanied by a Hungarian translation. The submission deadline is 20 October 2026 at 13:00. Price accounts for 50% of the evaluation, while the additional experience of each of two specified specialists accounts for 25%; additional experience is assessed from 0 to 24 months. The contract is conditional on obtaining a state cost-control opinion.
