Supply of Personal Protective Equipment Sets

Summary

The procurement is for five sets of personal protective equipment for the readiness police unit in Budapest. The sets include, among other items, bomb-protective clothing and helmets, gas masks and filters, a compressed-air breathing system, protective suits and boots, protective gloves, radiation meters and a multi-gas detector. Detailed technical requirements are in the tender documents. Products must be new, and equivalence must be demonstrated if an equivalent product is offered. Price is the only award criterion, and bids may not be submitted for separate lots. Bidders must have the required previous supply experience and a valid authorisation for activities involving military-purpose products. The bid must include a technical proposal and a fully completed, dated and signed price table in both PDF and editable Excel formats. The successful bidder must provide two protective-equipment sets for trial use after the contract is signed. Bids must be submitted electronically in Hungarian. The delay penalty is 1% of the contract’s net value for each calendar day of delay, capped at 20%; the penalty for failure to perform is 20%. A three-year full warranty applies to the medium-protection EOD Tactical bomb suit and SRS-5 and ACH helmets; other products have a one-year full warranty.
