Mattresses to prevent pressure injuries in people who are lying down

Summary

The Municipality of Aarhus is procuring, under a framework agreement, mattresses to prevent pressure injuries in people who are lying down, including accessories and spare parts. The procurement has three lots: pressure-distributing foam mattresses; combined foam-and-air mattresses that can be used with a pump; and air mattresses with dynamic air exchange. The products are intended for people with different levels of pressure-injury risk. The nursing home Plejehjemmet Sct. Olaf is also covered. A bidder may tender for up to all three lots. The initial framework-agreement term is two years from 1 April 2027, with up to two extensions of up to 12 months each. For each lot, quality accounts for 70% and price for 30%; quality is assessed by testing the submitted samples, and a score of at least 5 out of 10 before weighting is required for the offer to remain eligible. The offer must include the completed technical specification and price-list annex for the relevant lot. The contract also includes CSR and insurance requirements, and electronic invoicing is required. For each of the bidder’s two most recent available financial years, equity must be positive and the solvency ratio must be at least 15%. Offers must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 30 October 2026. The maximum four-year values, excluding VAT, are DKK 6,271,200, DKK 10,010,000 and DKK 7,451,600 for lots 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
