Snow clearing and winter maintenance of roads and streets in Popovo Municipality

Summary

Popovo Municipality is procuring road and street snow-clearing and winter maintenance services for the period from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2028, divided into four lots. Lot 1 covers 162.6 km of municipal roads across six areas; Lot 2 covers 50 km of streets in Popovo and the Nevski and Seyachi neighbourhoods; Lot 3 covers 240 km of streets in the municipality’s settlements; and Lot 4 covers 6.226 km of national roads within Popovo. Work includes clearing snow with tractors, blades, a rotary snowplough, graders, vehicles and loaders; spreading sand or brine; and, for some lots, towing stranded vehicles for up to 500 m. Bidders may tender for any or all four lots. Price is the sole award criterion: the tender with the lowest sum of the proposed unit prices for the activities ranks first. Bidders must meet the turnover, experience, equipment and storage-facility requirements for each lot tendered for and must not be subject to exclusion grounds. No tender guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee equal to 2% of the contract value excluding VAT before signing.
