Digital transformation and modernization of ICT infrastructure and IT systems for DCVaV CVTI SR

Summary

The contract concerns the digital transformation and modernization of DCVaV CVTI SR's ICT infrastructure and IT systems. It covers the delivery and deployment of a single architecturally coherent data center, consisting of non-IT technologies (power supply, backup, cooling/ventilation, fire protection, security, monitoring) and IT hardware (compute, storage, networks and GPU resources) and accompanying software (virtualization, containerization, object storage, management and presentation layers, AI services). The data centers will be located at two sites: Bratislava (Staré Mesto) and Žilina, with architecture and replication planned to extend to additional locations. The aim is a unified operational data center capable of securely and reliably delivering IT research and development services, including operation and training of AI models.
