The contract covers the design, construction, commissioning and operation of a mechanical-biological waste treatment plant with anaerobic digestion and energy recovery, together with a transfer station in Galati. The project includes a 6-month design phase, a 32-month construction and installation phase, a 36-month warranty period and 10 years of operation, for an estimated total value of RON 948,361,921.30 excluding VAT. The mechanical treatment capacity is 50,000 tonnes per year, the anaerobic digestion capacity is 89,000 tonnes per year and the transfer station capacity is 23,000 tonnes per year.
