Station Services Mediation System (SSMS)

Summary

The contract covers the design, supply, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, migration, documentation, training, support and maintenance of a Station Services Mediation System (SSMS) for Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail. The system will centrally process and manage real-time passenger information across the railway network and interface with timetable, signalling, passenger display, public address and external passenger information systems. The solution must support the phased migration to future operational systems while maintaining continuity of passenger information services. The estimated value is EUR 4,000,000. The initial contract period is eight years, with an option to extend it by a further three years. The tender deadline is 1 October 2026.
