Procurement of up to 30 ballast distribution and profiling machines

Summary

The tender concerns a framework agreement for the procurement of up to 30 ballast distribution and profiling machines for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH. The negotiated procedure includes a prior participation competition, and the submission deadline is 9 October 2026. The machines must provide adjustable plough technology for producing ballast profiles in accordance with Ril 824, achieve a working performance of at least 1,500 m/h, operate on all listed track and sleeper types as well as tracks and points with a minimum radius of 170 m and cant up to 180 mm, and be approved for use on the DB network, at least track class D2, under the Fourth Railway Package. They must also have ETCS equipment compliant with the specifications, and ergonomic, climate-controlled and heated cabins suitable for carrying workers.
