Sludge removal and septage transport services 2027

Summary

The contract covers emptying small wastewater treatment plants and cesspits in 2027, as well as transporting fecal sludge and wastewater to the wastewater treatment plants in Gera or Weida. Regular sludge removal covers approximately 3,000 small treatment plants and around 5,000 m³ of sludge from March through November. In addition, on-demand emergency sludge removal must be provided for approximately 500 small treatment plants, involving around 1,100 m³ over the full year, together with the removal of wastewater from cesspits. The quantities are approximate, and bidders must account for possible increases or decreases in the unit prices; changes in volume will not result in price adjustments.
