Supply of hydrated lime for the Alcanena wastewater treatment plant
Summary
AQUANENA is procuring hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) for the Alcanena wastewater treatment plant for a 12-month period, from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027. The estimated maximum, non-binding quantity is 1,800 tonnes, with a budget ceiling of €183,600 excluding VAT. The lime will be used to adjust pH for metal precipitation, particularly chromium, and to stabilise sludge; deliveries will be made in stages by tanker to the silo or by tipper truck.
