ULSCB property all-risks insurance for 2027

Summary

The tender is for all-risks property insurance for the buildings, facilities and contents of the Castelo Branco Local Health Unit (ULSCB) from 1 January to 31 December 2027. The insured property includes Amato Lusitano Hospital and health centres and clinics in the area. The total insured capital is EUR 73,556,696.31: EUR 35,183,000.63 for buildings and EUR 38,373,695.68 for contents. Required cover includes, among other risks, fire, storms, flooding, landslides, vandalism, theft, water damage, electrical risks, refrigerated goods and machinery breakdown; several additional covers have specified limits. Bidders must be insurers or insurance intermediaries authorised by the Portuguese supervisory authority, ASF; an intermediary must provide written authority from the insurer and evidence that the insurer assumes the risk.
