Summary

MARB seeks cleaning services and solid-waste collection at its wholesale market in Celeirós, Braga, covering buildings and shared outdoor areas. The work includes sweeping, washing and disinfecting indoor and outdoor surfaces, collecting and sorting waste, placing it in designated containers, maintaining containers and clearing blockages when required. Waste streams include paper, cardboard, plastic, wood and glass, as well as organic and mixed municipal waste. The contract starts on 1 January 2027, runs for 24 months and may be renewed once for 12 months. The maximum budget is EUR 182,000 excluding VAT for the full period of up to 36 months. At least five workers must be assigned, each for four hours per day, and the service must have a coordinator and a permanent on-site representative. Minimum equipment includes one ride-on floor scrubber, one pressure washer and one vacuum cleaner; machinery and equipment must be no more than three years old.
