Pest-control services for municipal premises for 24 months

Summary

Sintra Municipality is procuring pest-control services for 24 months in 2027–2028 at schools, municipal markets and other municipal premises. The work covers preventive and, where needed, corrective control of rodents, cockroaches and other pests, insect treatment, disinfection and pest monitoring. Corrective work also includes, among other services, termite and flying-ant control, treatment of wood pests, pigeon deterrence and non-toxic digital monitoring devices. Preventive work will follow the specified schedules; urgent corrective work must be carried out within 48 hours of notification. The estimated maximum value is EUR 84,260 excluding VAT: EUR 47,520 for preventive control at schools, EUR 4,760 at markets, EUR 7,980 at other municipal premises, and up to EUR 24,000 for corrective services. Price is the only award criterion: the sum of the unit prices for the four service categories is assessed, and the lowest-priced bid wins. Tenderers must provide unit prices and the required declarations, insurance and technical evidence, including proof of the competence of pesticide applicators and details of the Technical Director. Services must use approved products authorised for sale, comply with occupational safety requirements and be documented in a report after each intervention. Bids must be submitted through VORTAL by 9 October 2026 at 18:00. Variant bids are not allowed, and bids must remain valid for 120 days.
