Consumables with a tissue processor and slide printer

Summary

The contract covers a 36-month supply of histology laboratory consumables, together with the provision of a new tissue processor and laser slide printer. Consumables include, among other items, histology paraffin, glass coverslips, biopsy and standard cassettes, printer slides, microtome blades, formaldehyde-absorbing material and diagnostic staining solutions. Quantities are estimates and will depend on actual needs. The supplier must install the equipment and provide maintenance, repairs and technical support at no additional charge; support must be available 24 hours a day, 366 days a year, with a response time of up to 24 hours. Ordered goods are generally due within 10 working days of receipt of the purchase order. The estimated maximum price is EUR 118,800 excluding VAT. Bids are evaluated on price and technical merit, each weighted at 50%. Bids must be submitted in Portuguese with the required technical information and documents; alternative bids are not permitted, and bids must remain valid for 120 days.
