Medical Services for Graciosa Island Health Unit in 2027

Summary

The contract is for medical services for the Graciosa Island Health Unit from 1 January to 31 December 2027, primarily for its 24-hour basic urgent care unit. The estimated maximum volume is 3,888 hours, or up to 324 hours per month; actual hours will depend on service needs and only hours performed and approved will be paid. Services will be delivered at the Graciosa health unit and, where necessary, at other locations in its service area. The estimated ceiling is EUR 252,720 excluding VAT; the hourly rates are EUR 65 for a specialist and EUR 57 for a non-specialist. Price is the sole award criterion. The provider must ensure an appropriately qualified medical team, required professional credentials and insurance, staffing schedules, and equivalent replacements when needed. Doctors must, among other things, hold a professional licence issued by the Portuguese Medical Association and communicate fluently in Portuguese or have passed its language examination. The offer must include the required declarations and a price proposal showing hourly and total prices. A guarantee of 2% of the contract price is required, and offers must remain valid for 120 days after the submission deadline. The submission deadline is 24 October 2026 at 23:59; variant offers are not permitted.
