Supply of Sutures and Surgical Suturing Materials to the Alto Alentejo Health Unit for 2027

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of sutures and other surgical suturing materials to the Alto Alentejo local health unit during 2027. The 12 lots include, among other items, polyamide, polypropylene, polyglycolic acid, polyglactin, glyconate, polydioxanone, silk and polyester sutures, as well as separate surgical products including bone wax. The total ceiling is EUR 51,999.24 excluding VAT, and the ceiling for each lot must not be exceeded. Quantities are estimates for 12 months and do not guarantee a minimum order volume. Deliveries will be made in batches against orders during 2027 to the warehouses in Portalegre and Elvas. Bids must be submitted electronically by 18:00 on 9 October 2026. Price is the only award criterion, and the lowest-priced bid wins each lot. Bidders must provide the required medical-device marketing and technical evidence and, in general, a free sample of each proposed item; existing suppliers are exempt from samples for references they already supply.
