Replacement of the Synthetic Turf at Pampilhosa Football Field

Summary

Mealhada Municipality is procuring works to replace 7,652.2 m² of synthetic turf at the Pampilhosa football field. The works include removing and properly handling the existing turf and sand-and-rubber infill, levelling and compacting the base, repairing unsuitable sections of the base, and inspecting the existing drainage and irrigation systems and carrying out necessary repairs. The contractor must install a new 60 mm synthetic football surface, new sand and rubber infill, and line markings for 11-a-side, 7-a-side and 9-a-side football. The specified Profoot MasterMax 60 PRO turf or an equivalent product must meet at least the stated technical values. The works also include two removable goals, testing the installed pitch and obtaining certification from a laboratory accredited under the FIFA Quality Programme, managing safety and waste, and providing as-built documentation and maintenance training. The works must be completed in Pampilhosa within 90 days. The estimated maximum price is €220,000 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Bids are due through the ACIN platform by 23:59 on 13 October 2026; they must remain valid for 66 days, and variant bids are not allowed. No bid guarantee is required, but 10% is withheld from each interim payment as security for contract performance. The bidder or a subcontractor named in the bid must hold the required construction licence, and the bid must include the specified pricing, work-plan and company-register documents.
