Purchase of balloons for vascular angiography

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of vascular angiography balloons in four lots over 36 months. The lots comprise short and long plain balloons, sirolimus-coated angioplasty balloons, and high-pressure balloons. The estimated total value is EUR 815,400 excluding VAT; the lot ceilings are EUR 322,500, EUR 240,000, EUR 105,000 and EUR 147,900 respectively. Quantities are estimates and do not commit the buyer to purchase them in full. Goods must be delivered within 48 hours of an order, and, where applicable, must have at least 12 months of remaining shelf life. Bids must include the required forms and product information and comply with the technical specifications for each lot. Offers are evaluated on price (50%) and technical merit (50%). Bids must be submitted electronically in Portuguese; technical product sheets may be in English. The successful tenderer must provide the required qualification documents and a performance guarantee of 2% of the contract price. Delivery locations are the hospital in Vila Nova de Gaia and the logistics centre in Maia.
