Catching stray animals in Bochnia and providing their care

Summary

The Municipality of Bochnia is procuring a 12-month service from 1 January to 31 December 2027, comprising monthly care for dogs and cats in a shelter and 24-hour readiness to capture, transport and care for stray animals. The service also covers temporary care for animals taken from owners, veterinary treatment, sterilisation and castration, microchipping, adoption support and educational activities. The estimated quantities are 20 animals for shelter maintenance, 106 capture-and-transport services, 2 cases of care for animals temporarily taken from owners, 23 free-roaming cats captured and transported for treatment, 20 shelter animals sterilised or castrated as needed, 2 procedures to euthanise blind litters, 14 euthanasia and carcass-disposal procedures, 23 sterilisation or castration procedures for free-roaming cats, 26 cases of round-the-clock veterinary care for free-roaming cats, and 83 microchips. These quantities are estimates based on the reference period 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.
