Preparation of guidance for assessing human factors in nuclear power plant design

Summary

The State Atomic Energy Agency of Poland is commissioning a study with guidance to support regulatory assessment of how human factors are addressed in nuclear power plant design during the licensing process. The work will analyse relevant international nuclear safety requirements, including IAEA requirements, and set out the information to be included in licensing documentation, the assessment methodology and the estimated staff-hours needed to assess each requirement. The guidance is due within three months of contract signature and must be delivered as one printed copy and as an accessible DOCX file in Polish or English.
