Delivery of sterilization materials

Summary

The procurement covers 800 packs of 750 ml ready-to-use, unscented disinfectant foam and 350 one-litre packs of ready-to-use, unscented alcohol-based disinfectant for small medical-device surfaces. The foam must be suitable for alcohol-sensitive surfaces, including displays, infusion systems, incubators and ultrasound probes; it must contain 1-propanol and quaternary ammonium compounds and be free of aldehydes and alkyloamines. The other product must be suitable for rapid disinfection of small medical-device surfaces, be ethanol-based, and contain no quaternary ammonium compounds, aldehydes or alkylamines. Both products must be Class IIa medical devices and meet the efficacy and use requirements specified in the tender documents. Deliveries will be made against orders over 12 months; the bidder must offer a delivery period of 3, 4 or 5 working days per order. Price accounts for 90% and delivery time for 10% of the award score. The bidder must submit the price form and a document from the manufacturer or authorised distributor confirming that the proposed products meet the specifications. No separate qualification thresholds have been set. The deadline for submitting offers is 9 October 2026 at 11:00.
