Construction of an Alternative Access Road and Cycle Paths to the Specialist Provincial Hospital in Ciechanów – Stage II

Summary

The contract covers the design and construction of an alternative access road to the Specialist Provincial Hospital in Ciechanów under a design-and-build arrangement. The works include approximately 240 m of new two-way local road, reconstruction of the existing junction (preferably as a roundabout) and approximately 140 m of Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street, and construction of a cycle path, footpath, stormwater drainage, street lighting and a telecommunications duct. Conflicting utility networks must be relocated where necessary, and landscaping completed. The contractor must prepare the technical design, obtain the required approvals and road investment permit, carry out the construction, and obtain the occupancy permit. The completion period is 400 calendar days from contract signature. Bids are evaluated on price (60%) and warranty period (40%); the warranty for the works must be at least 60 months, with up to 96 months considered for scoring. The bidder must demonstrate at least one properly completed road construction or reconstruction contract within the previous five years, worth at least PLN 1,000,000 gross. No bid security is required; the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total bid price. The deadline for bids is 16 October 2026 at 10:00.
