Construction of a cycle route along the right bank of the Skawa River in Jaroszowice and Wadowice

Summary

The procurement covers construction of approximately 2.13 km of cycle route along the right bank of the Skawa River in Jaroszowice and Wadowice. The project consists of two connected sections: the first runs on the river flood embankment, while the second includes, among other works, reconstruction of the gas network. Road markings and traffic signs must also be installed, and areas occupied during construction must be restored. The detailed scope is set out in the design documents, bills of quantities and technical specifications. On the embankment, the contractor must mow the planned route, the full width of the embankment crest and at least 1.5 m of the slopes on both sides. Excavation and sub-base works must be carried out in stages of no more than 200 m, using mechanical equipment weighing no more than 6 tonnes. The contractor must arrange the necessary coordination and approvals, temporary traffic management, surveying, as-built documentation, inspections and formal completion of the construction process. The works must be completed within 250 days of signing the contract. Bidders must take into account that the first payment for the works can be made no earlier than 2027. The bidder must have relevant liability insurance of at least PLN 1,000,000, the required track record in road works and a team of three construction-management specialists with the specified qualifications. The bid must include four separate price schedules and a PLN 20,000 bid guarantee. Workers carrying out the specified tasks must be employed under employment contracts. The successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the contract price before signing. Bids are evaluated on price (80%) and an extended warranty period (20%); the minimum warranty period is 60 months and bidders may offer up to 84 months.
