Supply of a Data Deduplication Appliance

Summary

Gmina Wyry is procuring one data deduplication appliance under the “Digitalisation of Wyry Municipality” project, including delivery, installation, connection, configuration and commissioning. The appliance must support backup and archiving, data deduplication and compression, and integration with the contracting authority’s existing Veeam Data Platform Essentials backup software. The work includes analysing backup workloads, integrating the system and configuring security policies, performing recovery and replication tests, providing at least four hours of administrator instruction, and preparing post-implementation documentation. The supplier must deliver and install the appliance in the authority’s 19-inch rack cabinet and make the connections required to integrate it with the existing backup environment. The appliance must be new, unused and supplied through an official distribution channel in Poland; refurbished equipment and licences are not permitted. A minimum 60-month warranty is required, including on-site service and 24/7 technical support. Delivery and completion are due by 15 December 2026. Key minimum technical requirements include at least 16 TB of usable capacity, expandable to at least 40 TB; simultaneous handling of at least 50 backup and 80 recovery processes; backup throughput of at least 4 TB/h; at least four 10 GbE Base-T and four 10 GbE SFP+ interfaces, expandable to 25 GbE; and tolerance of the simultaneous failure of at least two disks. Offers are evaluated on price (60%), quality (30%) and data reduction ratio (10%). Quality points include, among other features, backup throughput above 4 TB/h, role-based access, immutable backups, exporting logs to SIEM systems, anomaly detection and an isolated backup environment protected against cyberattacks. Partial bids are not permitted and no tender guarantee is required. To participate, bidders must demonstrate relevant previous supply and implementation experience, nominate a specialist with the required certificate, and demonstrate an ISO 27001:2017 or equivalent information security management system.
