Operation of the Knurów Municipal Market and Itinerant Trading Locations

Summary

The contract is for operating the municipal market at 2 Targowa Street and designated itinerant trading locations in Knurów from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. The work includes keeping the market and trading locations clean and orderly, arranging waste collection, maintaining and carrying out minor repairs to market equipment and the social building, arranging electricity and water supplies, cleaning and stocking public toilets, maintaining the car park and green areas, and providing winter maintenance. The market and trading areas must be cleaned within two hours after trading ends. The waste bin at the itinerant trading location on Piastów Avenue must be emptied at least twice a week. The contractor must personally collect the market fee; the current remuneration for collection is 25% of the fees collected. A charge of up to PLN 3 may be collected for using the toilets, while traders selling at the market are exempt. Price is the sole award criterion. To participate, the bidder must demonstrate experience in at least one market-operation service involving fee collection during the previous three years and have the required trolley and waste containers available. The bid must include the price form and required declarations. The tender guarantee is PLN 7,011, and, before signing the contract, the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 1% of the contract’s maximum nominal value. The bid submission deadline is 13 October 2026 at 09:00. The maximum gross contract value is PLN 548,887.50.
