Improving the Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings through Construction of a Photovoltaic Farm with Energy Storage

Summary

The contract covers the design and construction of a renewable-energy system for public buildings: a photovoltaic farm of at least 0.5 MWp AC, a BESS energy storage system of at least 0.5 MW and 2.5 MWh, transformer and electrical infrastructure, connections to designated public buildings, electric-vehicle charger connections, communications and supervisory control systems, grid connection, commissioning and functional testing. The works must be completed by 31 January 2027. The BESS must be a prefabricated centralized all-in-one system, with the PCS, battery modules and cooling system integrated in one container and tested by FAT. Bids must be submitted electronically in Polish by 22 September 2026. Award criteria are price (60%), warranty and statutory liability period (10%), service response time (10%), component origin (10%) and emissions reduction (10%).
