Modernization of the Main Building of the Pedagogical Provincial Library in Krakow

Summary

The tender concerns comprehensive modernization of the main building of the Pedagogical Provincial Library in Krakow. The works cover two staff bathrooms, corridors, adjacent offices and the staircase between the ground and first floors. The scope includes protecting and relocating approximately 1,800 book volumes, demolition and preparatory works, structural and finishing works, painting, suspended ceilings, ceramic tiling, flooring and carpet installation, internal door replacement, sanitary and electrical installations, radiator refurbishment, bathroom equipment, testing, cleaning, furniture and shelving relocation, and rubble removal. The works must be completed by 15 December 2026, starting on the date of contract signature. Bids must be submitted electronically in Polish by 22 September 2026 at 09:00. The evaluation criteria are gross lump-sum price (85%) and the warranty period (15%); the required warranty is at least 12 months and the evaluated range is up to 36 months. A bid guarantee of PLN 15,000 is required.
