Modernisation of the Małopolska Educational Units building in Krakow – renovation of staircase no. 2

Summary

The tender concerns the renovation of staircase no. 2 in the building of the Małopolska Educational Units in Krakow. The works include preparatory, demolition and dismantling works; replacement of wooden stair treads, landings, parquet flooring and skirting boards; local plaster renovation and painting; balustrade modification and conservation; replacement of attic and external doors; emergency and evacuation lighting; lighting measurements; installation of wireless fire and smoke detectors; as-built documentation; updating the evacuation instructions and fire-safety documentation; and removal of rubble. The building is a listed historic property and works will be carried out while it remains in use. Noisy demolition works must be performed at weekends or on weekdays after 20:00. The contract must be completed by 15 December 2026. Offers must be submitted electronically by 18 September 2026 at 09:00. The award criteria are the gross lump-sum price, weighted at 85%, and the warranty period, weighted at 15%. The required warranty is at least 12 months and the evaluated range is 12 to 36 months. The bidder must provide the required historic-building renovation experience, suitably qualified site staff, the required declarations and supporting documents, a PLN 22,000 bid guarantee and, if selected, performance security equal to 5% of the gross tender price.
