Energy efficiency improvement of the historic West Pomeranian Maritime and Polytechnic Education Centre building in Szczecin under a design-and-build procedure

Summary

This is a design-and-build contract for improving the energy efficiency of a historic building of the West Pomeranian Maritime and Polytechnic Education Centre in Szczecin. The contractor must prepare the technical design and obtain the required construction approvals, carry out the building and installation works, obtain the documents needed for use of the building, and provide author supervision during construction. The contract period is 270 calendar days from signature. The tender covers the entire contract and no variants or partial bids are allowed. The bid must be submitted electronically by 18 September 2026 at 09:30. A PLN 150,000 bid guarantee is required. Evaluation is based on price (60%), the offered warranty and defects-liability period (30%), and the contractual penalty offered for each day of delay (10%). The warranty and defects-liability period must be between 60 and 65 months, and the daily penalty must be between 0.1% and 0.3% of the gross contract remuneration. Before contract signature, the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total bid price.
