Tender detail
Training for HEMS crew members and medical personnel on the use of the helicopter hoist (HHO)
Summary
The contract concerns a series of two-day, in-person theoretical and practical training sessions for HEMS crew members and medical personnel on operating a helicopter hoist (HHO). The training must use a full-scale movable medical replica of an Airbus EC 135 or EC 145 helicopter cabin, with a functional hoist capable of lifting and lowering participants, simulating helicopter movements, downwash, sound effects, terrain and weather conditions. The training covers rescue procedures, crew communication, safety, emergency situations and patient evacuation. Sixteen participants are planned, in groups of 4–8, with the possibility of reducing the total by up to two people. The contract must be completed within 16 months of signing or after training two groups, and no later than December 1, 2027. Tenders are evaluated by gross price (70%) and training-centre location (30%); a centre within 1,000 km in a straight line receives 30 points. The tender deadline is September 10, 2026 at 12:30. No tender bond or performance bond is required.
