The tender covers a 36-month service for collecting, transporting, storing and releasing the bodies of deceased patients and stillborn children from the hospital wards. The contractor must provide suitable transport and storage, use appropriate body bags, maintain the required records, prepare bodies respectfully for release, release them only to authorised persons or institutions, and collect and store postoperative body parts intended for burial.
