Creation of the “Memory Forest” at Łostowice Cemetery in a design-and-build formula

Summary

The contract concerns the creation of a specially designated area of about 370 m2 at Łostowice Cemetery in Gdańsk, called the “Memory Forest”, intended as a burial place for urns with the ashes of deceased persons in an ecological, nature-friendly form. The contract is to be carried out as a design-and-build project in two stages: preparation of the site development concept and full design documentation, then construction and landscaping works, including fencing, a ramp, mineral surfaces, small architecture, information and commemorative boards, planting greenery, and preparing as-built documentation. The contract is for construction works. The award criteria are price, completion time and warranty period. The bidder must meet technical/professional requirements, including experience in site development works worth at least PLN 150,000 gross and the involvement of a designer and a works manager with the required building authorisations. A bid security of PLN 3,000 is required.
